I am really fed up today, I’m really tired, I’m really angry.
I’m sick of how much things cost, how society attaches us to items and then tells us that we can’t have them. It’s infuriating. The profit the companies make is astronomical, the debt the makers of the clothes is horrendous.
It has a negative impact on everyone except those making money, which is probably about 1% of the people that an item will cost. The person that I am writing about is affected because she doesn’t buy into this capitalism, unless occasionally she falls in love with something, which has happened. And I can’t afford to buy it her, she can’t get a job because nobody will give her one, her mother is a bitch and so will spend £100 freely on her brother but not her.
We are supposed to feel like this, helpless and pissed off.
